the film is about a girl who is entwine in a love sequence by an angel who takes Val(lead male) who is deform and made a deal with him to get a beautiful face, the deal being he must make Samantha(female lead) to willingly go to the angel. Currently finish pre-production

Filming started 13th december 2007 filming currently in progress, The team is suffering from fatigue and a few injuries, the crew and talents are overworked due to a disfunctional camera, not stating the brand but it is a professional camera, finish phase one on sunday 16 december phase to starts 18 december 2007 with a new camera a Canon XL2, finishing up non-CG scenes soon and going to pre-production soon trailer will be out sometime during christmas or new year, Note to crew and talent we suffered together and we strive together i believe everybody gave all they could thanks everyone.

Review of kelvin tongs men in white

Watched the show Men In White on Friday and would give it a okay rating for a Singapore film, it was quite intriguing at first but the show is quite repetitive and quite similar to Royston Tan's 15 with short mtv's in between, would say it was quite hilarious during some parts within the film. I learned quite abit from the film and found out that the story was somewhat a little similar from the short film we are going to do. So after much decision i have decided to pull our short film away from a very "Singapore" theme to a more westernized fantasy version so hope that your will agree on this. hopefully our film is not another cliche/similar film from Singapore. but would love to keep certain expect to make our film a little "this is our home feel". Alright crew meetings and cast auditions are coming soon be prepared!! muhahaha it will be fun working on our film. so let's do it.

I have to admit that you guys are all studying and rushing through your projects now so am i, so good luck, holidays are coming soon and time is passing so slow, next week will be the first time that we will meet as a team and hopefully we will understand each other better, next week chances are the team will be meeting at the esplanade unless u got any suggestions please post it at the tag board. Sorry to say but during that time abit of filming techniques will be taught to you guys hope your don't mind, outside you have to pay, while we will teach you for free as long as you help in the production. okay take care guys see you next week.

Phase 1 Bears night out

All crew positions have been filled, the new crew team is bigger and i believe that all of them have a lot of potential, i thank everyone for their participation in phase 1 the script and all pre- production papers are about done. Now start of phase 2 which includes casting, smooth the script, administration( all crew members are to sign a crew release form) and are to write a short biography and a picture attached to it, location Reece. Phase 3 prepare to send our documents to Singapore Film Commission.

Last Day of SHOOT

on the 11th of October 2006, we finished up on the remaining scenes we haven't shot yet..

We went to dominic's hse.. WOO... the area there is quiet.. if i were to retire.. i'll like to live in that type of place and...

FINALLY its over.. OVER~!! we finished filming and are rushing our editing for Canon Digital Film Festival. The deadline for the submission is on the 14th of October 2006, but afraid unable to hand up in time.. We planned to hand up the final product on the 13th of October 2006..

All the shooting is done.. everything is done.. its all down to editing.. let us all hope and pray that our end product will be SPLENDID.

4th day of non-stop filming exhausted, and tired having lots of fun though, with the cast and crew thanks to everybody who helped out. Have been very happy about having only about 2 to 3 scenes left to be done never expected to push ourselves all the way but in the end as a team we gladly did that, everybody have been doing their best, thank you everyone. Learned and done alot things on the way, cheers, signing off.

basically we have max ourselves out been working very hard already, our 3rd day of filming without a stop tired as we are we are gonna push till the last, like what our team has always been doing we will never give up anywayz today filming was cool cause we really max almost all the resources we had for example using the ligthings, erm ask for help and lots of other stuff.... we left 2 more days to film its now is the rush period of our film hopefully we can do it sorry and thank you to everyone who helped us and make our dreamz come true... signing off.

It's been tough, all of us had little sleep and have film for two days now tml will be the third had a great laugh when the night scene was being film cephas acting crazy and all hmmm but that scene was nice thanks to all those who came to help within the two days and thanks to all those that tagged for us and your comments are well appreciated and your support has been great thanks everyone and anyone who saw our or helped us we hope for more of your support being at the last 3 days of editing and filming before we send it to the competition.... singing off

Its been a funny shoot today with the most NGs on talents laughing, can't blame them, ask them they will tell you why, anywayz everybody did very well, everybody was hardworking to the very end until we ate dinner, i mean supper by 11 by the time, this few things had happend, (1) people faces were looking whiter than usual, (2) people losing their appetite because they were having gastric for longer than usual, (3) amazingly the food was still hot even though we bought it about 2 hours ago, (4) people were thirsty from the heat of the red heads, (5) Majority were rushing for their last trains home. That covers about almost everything oh, not forgeting all our crew and talents who had worked hard thank you everyone who helped us with a big smile. So till our next shoot, cheers!!!!

Was much better from the first after our teacher woke us up lol, We started on a friday doing minor reshoots and new scenes, We moved on to filming at a secondary school which took us a long day and had a new experience working with everyone there, i would say we did quite well this time round hopefully the next one will be much better thanks everyone who helped!!! and to the crew and teachers and students and those who supported us financially and especailly our friends!!! cheers until our next shoot!!!

what a productive shoot we had yesterday, although there were a few screw ups we still managed to shoot a few very good takes...
crew call at 8 but we oni started at around 8-9.
we shot the gangster scene, michael going into andy's house, micheal being beaten uo and stripped by andy and gangsters, michael going home

Improvements to the script interesting!!! settled the props needed on filming day. Had a rehearsal on saturday, with all the main characters, all of them were great for each of their individual role phew lol. hmmm tiring week though lol had to clean alex house haha special thanks to those who help us yesterday really a big thank you. :) now filming day ish juz a few days away, preperations are almost all done. great job everyone cheers!!!

Second location recce was quite successful, hmmm the first house we went to needs a little cleaning up lol but fits the bill quite fine. hmmm the second house was much more than i expected it was great had most of the settings we wanted quite happy with it, Now on to our first crew meeting met our new crew, hmmm met our assistant director Evangeline our Interior designer Sarah and our very first cast Cephas who will be acting as Micahel. Hmmm next week will be one long week due to the fact that the preparation of props and things needed to be brought on the shooting day needs to be planned out. Coming soon more crew members and maybe something special will be added soon cheers!!!

Our first location recce planning, hmmm it went quite well although waiting... was something we had to do the whole day. hmmm found some pretty good location to film amazingly all the location we found had a little special touch to all of them, which might make our film look better hopefully lol hmmm did sketching of point of views and floor plan, detailed checks were made and backup locations were done. hmmm slight injury for our cameraman sebastian who hit his toe when he missed the cracked floor other than that all seems fine and well, will be doing our second location recce most probably by next friday and found a production assistant already hmmm also found cast which i had not met hopefully his what i want lol!!!

Hmmm NDP Week could not do much but at least done the structure of a detailed script, still got abit of flaws that we must touch up on and, have to think of different ways to make it better is not easy hopefully can complete it asap!!! (no stress included)

Hmmm Fiannly script strusture has completed just left a little editing at the ending thats all, now doing scripting hmmm don't know what dialogue to get the characters to say yet but we will sure think of that hmmm today did minor administrative works like some money issues thinking of getting a sponsor for food!!! done filing the old scripts, submit a mood board to mr boi so we can get the lightings and camera works roughly the way we want. planning on abit of location and props we needed and getting a few crew members thats it for now...

today we presented the edited script that we had to Mr. Boi

he said that we had both parts of stories in the script like.. good side and the bad side. so den he gave us some pointers on the ideas that we were on.. he managed to made us think of a new ending to the story.. he always asked us to think of a story with a meaning and we managed to do so.. so happy.. the next we are going to do is to write out on the things that are required for the whole short film to be done..

Script Making

During the last semester, we were told to choose on the project that we would like to be concentrating on for our last module for next term.. It was Aylwin who wanted to do video so much.. started to form a team for his Video Making.. It was tough forming a crew. He had to think of the different kind of people that he needed, example.. Graphics Designer, Soundman and many more..

After he gathered the team of people for his Video, Total Strength for our Crew is 4pax including Director himself.. we are short of people for the making of the Video Project. So we had to split up on our job scope and of course everyone had more things to do and more plannings are needed..

After which before the school closes for a term break, each Video Team in Multimedia technology had to hand up a short synopsis on the video that they are roughly going to progress on.

After the term break, we came back to school and got to know that we are doing video in our final year project. We were happy and had a step ahead towards our future.. We immediately planned on the short synopsis that we've made and brunch it out to different scenes and what will happen next after each scene..

We met Mr Boi, who is in-charge of our group in our video project, we spoke to him about our drafting that we've made throughout the whole of the 1st week of school.. He told us that the story that we wrote and thought about was nice, but we were lack of concentration of the story, the story was everywhere and told us that we need an aim in a film..

After hearing the advice from Mr Boi, we planned on cutting short the script and making a twist, but somehow we got stucked and reflected on what Mr Boi said about an aim in a short film, so Director, Aylwin Teo, he went home and thought of another script out.. This time, the script he produced had an aim in the story and was more detailed with short synopsis, story outline and more plannings..

Though we fail on progressing on the 1st script, we managed to learn more and know what is needed and what are the basic needs of creating a simple short film.
